Q to Jim Harbaugh after he praised Justin Herbert's "warrior" play that he's been watching for two and a half years:

"Part of that is just him taking a ruthless beating because of, I don't know if it's the group in front of him, his protection, what's going on, but when you came here, your charge was to get him protected.
