This post always makes me think of Ruxandra Roxtador from my novel Unshackled, coauthored with Jamie Ibson and birthplace of the Buff Orpington franchise which finally, officially launched a few days ago.
Apologies for the roller coaster run on sentence. 🤓
@Jringo1508 Love flying but hate heights. It’s why I fly low. Granted, not helo low but relatively low. But C-130 crews are helo-level paranoid about stuff going horribly wrong.

@japan_nobunaga B for pretty much all of New Mexico, everything is way too spread out and even in Albuquerque mass transit isn’t extensive or convenient enough.
What's going on this week at Baen Books? Since we have no convention appearances and we've finally cleaned up most of the glitter (you can never get it all) from the interns' decorating efforts, it's time for LibertyCon prep!
We are going to let the interns pack the books that we are taking for the Baen Road Show and Prize Patrol and we *might* let them pick out some of the books as well. Normally this is the point where we say pray for us, but really, this time it's pray for you! Who knows, they may pack more than what's on the list we gave them...
In addition to all of the amazing Baen authors who will be attending LibertyCon, some of our production, editing, acquisition, and social media staff will be there! Want to know more about how Baen does things? There will likely be someone there who can tell. you all about it!

@tanpukunokami My first real time shooting was at Boy Scout camp when I was 10 or 11. I went to shooting ranges a few times with friends & family before I joined the military.
It’s definitely not a state thing, but it’s somewhat of a rural vs urban divide but even that’s not a perfect answer.
@oidonhagouda CoCo’s was our go-to comfort food during the years my wife and I were stationed there. I can vouch that every other American I knew on Okinawa could give you their preferred CoCo’s order on command whenever asked. Mine was gyushabu, level 7, garlic chips and garlic naan.
eARC ALERT!!!
A new entry in the Troy Rising Universe is now live! We can't wait for you to see what's new
Troy Rising edited by @Jringo1508 and @GrayRinehart
NEW YORK TIMES BEST-SELLING SERIES CONTINUES!
First the Glatun came, and we learned we were not alone in the galaxy. Then the Horvath arrived, and we learned the galaxy was a dangerous place. But our alien enemies underestimated how dangerous we could be.
It’s been over fifteen years since New York Times best-selling author John Ringo’s Live Free or Die dropped us into a war we didn’t want and couldn’t win, or so it seemed. From that first volume through Citadel and The Hot Gate, he let us experience the triumph of the human spirit through our entrepreneurial creativity, native-born toughness, and sheer patriotic stubbornness. We marveled at gargantuan technological accomplishments so well imagined they seemed not only possible but inevitable, and equally larger-than-life characters that seemed just as remarkable and even more real.
Now, for the first time, John has permitted a select cadre of authors to write new stories in his Troy Rising universe. In this volume, you’ll find stories of espionage and subterfuge, daring and cleverness, courage and sacrifice, told with heart and humor and, above all, humanity, including an all new novella by John Ringo and stories by Adam Oyebanji, Mike Massa, @Marisa_comeaux, Michael Mersault, @caseymoops, Michael Gants, @KarlKGallagher, @CKPBooks, and @WarpCordova & @MelissaOlthoff.
