🚨 Folarin Balogun is eligible to play against Belgium.

FIFA sources had insisted US Soccer had no appeal. Sources say US Soccer did not attempt one as a result.

And Balogun had spoken on Monday here in Seattle about missing the game telling us, “I have to accept it…”

Yet FIFA have decided to hand Balogun a suspended one-game ban, which is in their powers as per Article 27. The red card stands but Balogun is free to play.

Cristiano Ronaldo also given a suspended ban before the tournament allowing him to play Portugal’s opening World Cup games.

@On3 @CSOonX No one is doing more to ruin CFB market wise than CFB coaches. Dudes getting paid 50-100 million to not coach after getting fired. Dudes getting paid more than their entire offense, etc etc, and then complain about the market. Fans are allowed to complain, coaches aren’t.

@GroupOfFiveGuys I could stomach 24 if all contents champs get in. Most teams would be at least 9-3 and at the top or best the top of their conference. We won’t get that. We will get mid 8-4 teams in instead. That’s just lame and bad long term imho

Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.

I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

@SickosCommittee I got so far behind due to work and family stuff that I’m still only on Thursday events. So the games haven’t ended for me yet. I’ve got smother two solid days of watching 5-7 events before I am in the same boat. Also found a sick biathlon video game on PC for my withdrawals 😂

He was DQ’d for wearing a helmet showing the faces of Ukrainian athletes killed by Russia. Which is not even a political statement. He knew he would be DQ’d but kept the helmet anyways and gave up his dream. Respect. Most of us wouldn’t have kept it.

For me, the sacrifice of the people depicted on the helmet means more than any medal ever could - because they gave the most precious thing they had.
And simple respect toward them is exactly what I want to give.
