@0xarslan Royce Clayton is awesome. I must’ve been about 10 years old at the Hall of Fame Game in Cooperstown. He took the time to play catch with me while I was in the bleachers and he was out on the field getting warmed up. Hall of fame in my book 💯
@CatherinVaritek My 8 y/o son is a HUGE Sox fan and just finished reading this book I’ve had since my dad and I went to game 4 in ‘07! He would LOVE one!
@JimNagy_SB Pretty much in alignment here. That’s why baseball (swinging sports in general too) players can transfer into almost any other sport at an average level more easily than any other sport can transfer. There’s a @DexterFowler interview from a while back that speaks to this.
@treythekiid3 Congrats! Wise move and excited for you. My 5 year old is always throwing the ball up to himself yelling “Casey Thompson to Trey Palmer” (I have countless videos). He’ll love rooting for you at the next level.
THE BALL HAS A VOICE.
"Well depending on how hard it's hit. If it's hit hard he's probably not gonna go home.”
Yes, you need to know what to do with the ball when it’s hit your way. But the ball will tell you what to do with it… if only you listen to it
