I’m excited to announce my commitment to Coe College to continue my baseball and academic career! I would like to thank my family, coaches, and friends for helping me along the way! Go Kohawks! @CoeBaseball @IndianolaBB @IowaSticks
Open the eyes of our hearts Lord. Let us desire to see you for who you truly are and what you truly desire.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”
Matthew 5:8
Heaven ushered in a hero of the faith last night as my Dad was welcomed home!
Many will say sorry for your loss but the truth is he’s not lost, we know exactly where he is.
He’s home.
Forever!
I asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, “Jesus.”
He couldn’t wait to see Jesus face to face.
Praise God that his wait is over.
Death has been swallowed up in victory.
He’s healed and whole now.
So we don’t mourn as those with no hope.
See you soon Dad!
““If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you.”
John 15:18-20 NLT

After the team flew back following UConn’s National Championship loss, Tarris Reed Jr. prepared a speech on short notice for UConn’s Athletes In Action meeting.
“I told myself I would let the Holy Spirit speak through me.”
He revealed that night, both Azzi Fudd and KK Arnold of UConn WBB got baptized
Truly amazing work and an inspirational message from T-Reed 🙏

High Point Guard Chase Johnston shared The Gospel on @wakeupbarstool this morning & explained how Jesus Christ saved him though a convicting conversation with his brother 3 years ago.
Great job diving into this, @TBob53 👏
High Point G Chase Johnston, who hit the game-winner in their upset win over Wisconsin, wears jersey #99 to represent The Parable of the Lost Sheep where Jesus leaves the 99 to find the 1 👏
I have decided to enter the transfer portal as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining. I’m grateful to everyone at Truman State who made these past three years special.
I think this picture explains so well what has been happening as we see the discussions especially about this whole marriage thing
A lot of people believe in God and Jesus because they know He is real and true
Because they can’t deny His existence. And they love the structure and direction that faith and religion gives their lives
But that’s where it ends
They go to church for that sense of belonging and community
They love the camaraderie and the vibes
But Jesus is definitely not Lord of their lives and you can tell because His word is not the compass that guides their lives
They don’t consult Him before and after they act
If it feels good to them and they can rationalize it, you best believe they are going to do it
The Bible says “even demons believe”
If your belief in Christ does not translate to “obedience, your belief does not mean much.
