But she is nothing if persistent. It’s been over a month and Antler is yet to hatch, but she is still dedicated to hatching it. Will update if it hatches, and what comes out of it when it does. My mom and I think it will be a deer-chicken, but who knows

She is determined to hatch it. She will have it in her bed, adjust it under herself, and lay on it. She doesn’t do this with anything else, only Antler. Occasionally, she will check to see if it’s hatched into Food. It has yet to hatch into Food. It is still only Antler.

But she will only chew it a few times before deciding that it’s not currently a food. She knows it’s not a toy, she doesn’t think it’s a food, but she knows it’s Hers and Coveted and Special… so she has come to the conclusion that it must be Egg.

She understands it is capital H Hers, and she believes it to be Coveted, but she does not know what it is, why it’s Special, or what she’s supposed to do with it

I love my dog’s thought process. I got her an antler at the Festival of the Little Hills, a little over a month ago. It’s a small one, just a point. However, she is thoroughly perplexed by it.
