@DrDiGiorgio@doctorhanmd At my hospital, the patient would be required to sign for financial responsibility and put 50% down of the estimated cost. Some procedures are urgent or necessary but not emergent and sending them through the ER is disingenuous if not fraud.
Back on Twitter to ask but one question… @MarketDistrict are you still planning to build a store in Greenwood Indiana???? I’ve been waiting over a year!!
‘27 Landon Colwell (IN) rips this ball up the middle for a base knock. Wide stance, utilizes lower half well. Finished w/ two hits for @CanesMidwest. #OVWS
@gbosslet@DrHedrick@DGlaucomflecken The funny thing about it is, the automated blood counters do a differential any ways. They just don’t release the data if you don’t order the diff.
@JWilliamsonDO @DeyaJosue The last part is true for rads too. That being said… almost no one in rads has that 24/7/365 lifestyle and ‘call’ usually means just an extra 4-8 hour shift.
@RooG2010@TanyaFBanks@AliviaPharmD The stakes are high with allergies. I’ve seen too many patients tell a nurse one thing and me another. I’m going to ask every time I see a patient.
@SenatorBraun The constitutionality question has already been answered by the senate. If you are not now listening to evidence and deciding the question based on that... you’re like a juror in a murder trial arguing the defendant shouldn’t have been indicted.
@DarelHeitkamp I do this. And then show them can’t miss hard cases on chest films so that they can immediately see the positive value of having a radiologist read their films.
@formerlyfiz @HJYouga @Caulimovirus I saw it in the USMC before I saw it in medicine. True in both places. “Thou shalt suffer for I have suffered’. Ridiculous perpetuation of cyclical abuse.
@BingingWBabish I made the French onion soup you featured tonight.... I have never ever ever been disappointed by a recipe from your show and tonight was no different!! Amazing!!
@s24man @atomicmo11y @kari_jerge @MrsPA_C So I cheat and don’t have to place my chest tubes quite so emergently... and I do image guided tubes, but when using an ultrasound I get darn good analgesia with local. It’s tough to numb the pleura on both the visceral and parietal areas. Still prefer sedation.
