I’m just speechless after that red card, @hullfcofficial player Brown just couldn’t understand why he was sent off, as everyone else didn’t know. What’s happening to the game. Everyone talking about everything except the game.
Who's coming up with this shite @TheRFL ? Look at what the fans are saying. You're ruining the game. It's time for you all to go and give people who know what they're doing, a chance to get the game back to being RUGBY LEAGUE. We don't know what this is currently 🤷♂️
This is going to kill the game. I'm all for protecting players, but this isnt even a penalty. It was unavoidable. Our game promotes physicality and speed, together accidents like this will happen. Reds have to be reserved for intentional acts like swinging arms and elbows.
I’ve kept my opinion to myself about some of the red and yellow cards given out in our sport recently, but that one is a joke.
No way can that be a penalty, never mind a sending off.
First of all, thanks to @engywalmsley for using Rugby League Live as a platform to express his views on a critical topic within the sport right now.
A strong union that increases their influence in the future of the sport is the least players deserve.

…. am glad Harry Smith able to play for Wigan in the World Club Challenge against Penrith at the weekend…. But the #RugbyLeague Match Review Panel has now set the bar as to what is ok with a tip tackle. In 2024 there can now be no ban for the same tackle 🏉😎
Luke Yates has hit back at the RFL Match Review Panel after their inconsistency in the Harry Smith case.
What is frustrating to see is the most dangerous tackle of the weekend and one that could end with a life-changing injury to a player was the one that didn’t receive a ban.
As we start a new dawn for our sport I think now is the time to let players have a proper say in the direction where of the game goes.
My thoughts on the need for a strong Players Union, Player Wellfare and the proposed rules coming in.
