This past January we advertised the Meet a Mathematician poster in collaboration with the AMS.
We are aware that AMS has not sent any of these posters yet but they have communicated to us that they are now working to send all the poster orders.

@sallycol I like to practice the first 5 minutes of the talk a lot; like, title, my name, outline, summary, first background part; I think it helps me with my confidence if I feel like I have a strong start. Of course practice the rest too! But I do the first 5 minutes many more times
I gave 8 math* talks this semester; this is def the most I've ever spoken, and before each talk I was v nervous! But it got a little better, so to celebrate the end of the semester, here's a slide I really liked from each talk!
