All Roads Lead to Nsukka.
In Nov, I’ll be back in Nsukka for the 50th CASOR Fellowship Anniversary.
Why does it matter? Because Nsukka is where I first learned resilience.

I was 24, scared, and broke. No “connections” to land me a job. One Sunday, I gave my last ₦50 as an offering, quietly asking God to take over my future.
Back in Lagos, nothing changed immediately — hunger, one meal a day, trekking to job hunts with no transport fare.
I once nearly passed out at Sandfill bus stop under the sun.
But along the way, angels appeared — security guards who finally let me in, receptionists who whispered the right names to ask for, strangers who gave me a chance.
That season taught me: we all carry backstories.
And the grit we build in the dark becomes the strength that carries us forward.

So yes, going back to Nsukka is not nostalgia. It’s honoring where my becoming began. 💙
