Inde Navarrette will star in a new sci-fi thriller ‘THE WAFFLE HOUSE INDEX’ for Apple.

The film follows a Waffle House waitress who has a terrible night shift featuring a gunman, a mass flood, killer crocodiles, a nuclear explosion, a magical bunker under the Waffle House & aliens.

If you take all of that away, especially with a character like him, you’re left with nothing more than a name tag.

@PomegranateCity Her misinterpreting a story she claims to have spent considerable time reading isn’t King’s fault. Especially when he was hands-off with the script, letting the hired writer take creative liberties but it was just her misunderstanding the basics.

People with creative passions usually become good when they spend time to explore and develop that passion. Just because he was denied the chance to pursue that doesn’t mean he couldn’t teach himself for those 30 years.

He even hides it from his parents. This passion has spanned roughly 30 years, so him being self-taught and creative all his life isn’t surprising.

John doesn’t wear the ring at that point, from what’s shown, so it’s possible that he became an architect sometime during those 10 years, especially since the story heavily suggests it.

I think the portrayal of John’s childhood is one of the episode’s biggest strengths, despite some weird changes. It never portrays his upbringing as a good thing, it shows the emotional damage it caused him and the relationships with his family and his brothers later on.
