Certainly raises some questions about the canon-ness of the Halloween comics though... If they ARE canon then how was Merasmus out of jail in at least 2 of these 7 years? If they AREN'T canon then why *is* he in jail in the Halloween comic immediately after #1?😆

Do we ever find out why Merasmus is in prison in the final comic? In #1 (August 2013) Soldier kills Tom Jones with Merasmus present then flees the scene with fake cop Pauling, then in the Halloween 2013 comic we see Merasmus in jail presumably taking the heat for TJ's murder
