@KSHB41 When you show an aerial view of the location of the proposed landfill, please show the 1000+ home neighborhood and school across the street, instead of making it look completely rural.
@GovParsonMO Great, if you live just across the street from KC and you want a landfill in your front yard and a Governor who thinks you and your family do not deserve a $100k environmental study on the area, yet spends 1.5 M to fix a KC fountain. If ya like that sort of thing move to MO!
@CRD_LST Proving this proposed landfill is the most asinine idea, yet @MayorLucasKC will not put it to bed & say he will not allow it even though the land is zoned low density residential. He blocked me in May for calling him out, instead of answering my questions.
@dietrichslove @GovParsonMO @SGFChamber @GovParsonMO sure did veto funding for an environmental study for a proposed landfill in south KC of 460 acres .5 miles from a thousand home subdivision. Why would we need a study to make sure thousands of Missourians are safe? He is a joke.
@GovParsonMO You can’t spend $100k for a study on how thousands of Missouri families health & welfare will be impacted by proposed LARGEST landfill in MO? Can’t wait to see how a landfill will improve my family’s life across the street from our neighborhood. Completely absurd you vetoed that!
@Meg_Cunn That includes only residents in Jackson county and no one living directly across the street. Numbers are right around 20k, not 2500. Health impacts correct, number of people impacted incorrect.
@pnattmbtc_@SteveDDees@jsolomonReports Mary Elizabeth Coleman is the same senator who wants to make sure women have no options but to have a child but also wants to dump landfills across the street from children’s homes and schools that are hazardous to their health. Is she trying to protect children or not?

@offgridPorter@AdamsMidwest@EmilyManleyTV@RickBrattin They want to bring trash from other states, do some research. Landfills do not belong in the middle of the city in anyones backyard and definitely not .15 miles from an elementary school.
