Bury went bust, Bolton Wanderers were 24 hours away from going bust, Luton got deducted 30 points, Leeds/Sheffield Wednesday/Everton/Nottingham Forest and numerous others hit with points deductions over petty financial breaches.
Yet these have the victim mentality, disgraceful.
Burnham basically putting pressure on the PL to go very soft on the cheating cunts is a disgrace. And another massive reason why State ownership should be illegal.
Here is definitive evidence that Etihad was complicit in the “sham arrangements”.
Note: Peter Baumgartner was Etihad’s Chief Commercial Officer at the time
@etihad try explaining that away before you pretend to threaten people for telling facts
Andy Burnham there, not wanting to intervene in the process, but giving a (weird) opinion on the PL’s reliability in processes and saying what he wouldn’t like as an outcome. So not intervening by intervening.
aaaaaaaand there’s what we were all worried about. sportswashing inextricably links something as banal as sports to a state with power and now gives Man City leverage. 👎🏻
"The decisive ally to both of the clubs was the man whose job should have committed him to complete neutrality: UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino. The Football Leaks documents show just how unconscionably the top functionary sided with the newly wealthy clubs, both of which didn't just violate the Financial Fair Play rules. They held them in contempt.
During the FFP proceedings, Infantino met with club bosses from Paris and Manchester on several occasions for secret talks, even supplying them with confidential materials. He proposed compromises that he was unauthorized to propose. In short: He betrayed his own organization."

UPDATE: Another student has reached out to tell me Winston Lee who is now going by Jay Lee is living in one of the dorms on campus and also has a roommate. He is apparently trying to change his name again to avoid being found. Gillio Lopes is also living in an apartment in college town and is still attending classes as a junior!
Students need to be aware of this and @Cornell should be transparent and telling them these rapists are still on campus!
Etihad threatening to sue. UAE reportedly intimating that UK investment could be pulled. A Prime Minister couching any criticisism. If this sorry saga doesn't convince you that state ownership of football clubs should never be allowed, nothing ever will.
Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
Manchester City reported £949.4m arriving from sponsors over nine years.
The real number was £119.2m. Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), the club’s owner, forked out the remaining £830.7m in what the commission described as a “disguised funding scheme”.
City are alleged to have overstated their revenue by £854.5m over nine years.
We knew it was going to be bad. But this bad? No, it is on a different scale to anything the Premier League has seen before.

to those who don't know what she's talking about: in Tunisia, a 15 yo girl is in the ICU after she was gang raped by 11 boys for 2 days straight and the police only started looking for her after one of the boys picked up the phone on her mother and told her they will rape her too
