@GavinNewsom And instead of fixing our roads and bridges which is what our high gas tax was supposed to do, you have diverted those funds to fund other transportation projects such as the high speed rail and other green projects that haven’t even started, yet our roads are falling apart!

@GavinNewsom As a Californian Democrat, I wouldn’t be so cocky. You just gave gas companies a 4 year extension to keep price gouging us. And the state vetoed a 1-year pause on gas tax that would have saved individuals over a dollar a gallon. As a liberal, do the actual actions you speak of!

@tim_cook Apple loyal for over 10 years, but I think I may be moving to Samsung, no reason to increase pro $100 for 'S' updates, yet keep iPhone 17 the same price with massive upgrades (compared to 16/more pro features) iPhone air will have weak sales. Shouldn't have gotten rid of 17 max

@GavinNewsom Signed a LA liberal resident who is struggling to get by because our local and state government are failing to address price gouging when it comes to rent, food, and buying gas for our vehicles, home insurance, etc.

per gallon at the pump. Californians are paying over $1.30 in taxes on each gallon we put into our cars. Only 4 other states have sales tax on gas. CA’s sales tax is the highest in sales and highest in gas tax.

@GavinNewsom With how expensive it is to live in California, I don’t understand why the state is double dipping with sales tax and an excessively high gas tax on top of it. Californians are paying on the regular over $5 dollars a gallon and $1.30 of it is pure tax. That’s not cheap.

@GavinNewsom We’re paying over $1.30 per gallon in taxes every time we fill up our cars. Only 5 states in all of the country have sales tax on their gas - we have one of the highest sales tax and the highest gas tax per gallon on our fill up’s at the pump. This is pure double dipping.

@DisneyPlus I had my Disney+ subscription somehow canceled without my approval or knowledge and it was bundled with my student discount. Is there anyway to get that reinstated at the price, I was getting it for us since I did not cancel it?
