Your routine should allow for flexibility as life changes. In order to be the most consistent, you have to be able to adjust & adapt no matter what.
As the holidays approach, remember that you can enjoy your favorite foods & still follow through on your regular routine.
You could keep waiting until the “perfect time” to start.
Or you could start right now, today.
The sooner you realize getting 1% better each day builds up, the sooner you will start ACTUALLY reaching your goals.
Spending the day with Luke on the mountain 10/10 what I needed. Felt so good to be out all day riding. A lil liquid courage made me comfy enough to just ride fast and bounce back even after a couple years off 🥺
So wanted to stay home today and go snowboarding but god damn responsibilities 😫 Almost didn’t make it out of the driveway, shouldn’t just drove off it to ensure I didn’t
Just made some more home gym purchases (cable machine + flooring) - picking up my treadmill tomorrow. Just have the squat rack, mirrors + a new barbell and plates left before it’s completed 😍
Thinking about doing a physique competition just to try something new and half of me is like “that commitment to get the body is gonna be a lot of hard work and sacrifice” and the other half of me is like “fuck it we got this”
Luke is building me my squat rack with a pull-up bar for the home gym this upcoming week🥺 and I’m so excited for it. Thankful to have my man. (For lots more than just that tho)
I always send Luke these fun weird things I find on FB marketplace that I’m like “let’s get this it would be cool” and he always responds with something logical as to why we don’t need it and never a “let’s get this totally unnecessary item cuz it’s cool” 🙄
Getting Luke to teach me how to snowboard better (I know how to and have before, just wanna get rly good this year) and he was so excited to be doing that with me 🥺
