Asked my friend’s girlfriend, who’s from Thailand, where her favorite Thai food is in Seattle. She said Aroy Mak in Greenwood, and it’s a red flag if a place has “Thai” in the name
I finally tried it and maybe it’s my white American basic ass palette but I like Jai Thai way more 🥲
Paw-sitively adorable! Denali's sled dog puppy cam is now live! It’s a front-row seat to the next generation of working dogs in action!

Playing fetch with my dog in our yard while I drink my favorite beer after a long day of work immediately followed by hiking 6 miles for search and rescue send fucking tweet🥲
@PokeMarr The number of times I’ve told people to stop feeding wild gray jays out of their hands…
Thank you for your service 🫡goes back to your OP about helping people to learn to be respectful participants in nature and not just consumers of it 🥲
I feel this way about hiking trails.
Yes, beautiful places get loved to death, but that’s actually more reason to share your knowledge so people can learn to spread out. Drive past the Lake 22 trailhead on any weekend during any season and you’ll see
I do think it’s odd when people gate-keep birding. I 110% get the sentiment of wanting to protect nature. But is it not a great way to get people to protect nature by helping them fall in love with it? Instead of getting upset about it, teach them about birds & protecting them!
@PokeMarr Exactly 💯🙌🏼I saw another post kinda in the same vein as yours about how ppl assume it’s the new folks who are going to engage with nature unethically, but at least where I live, it’s the opposite, the locals are the ones who use natural areas for dumping grounds etc 😞
