@__robinweaver__@pmndrs Heard! I'll make an issue to add a mobile-optimized demo. At the moment the best demos for mobile are: the interactive canvas behind the header @ https://t.co/O9G9YJhpkn, https://t.co/LHXMI17ilG, and potentially this experiment with the "Gallery" theme: https://t.co/RNuUMLXf5a.
@YousufSoomroDev Ooof, that dither mouseover effect is so nice. Going to file this away for a project I'm working on. Thank you for making it open source!
I love this and keep thinking about it because recently that paper sent me down the same rabbit hole! Been building a watercolor engine with Claude, too: https://t.co/t21hWc7naJ. It's open source and v WIP; feel free to take it or leave it!
Faves Claude and I have made with it:
This weekend I've been working on a watercolor simulator based (as much as possible) on real physics.
It's built on Curtis et al.'s watercolor model (SIGGRAPH 1997) with a fluid layer, drifting pigment and wet paper fibers.
I decided to explore this because I love watercolor painting, and when I do some, my favourite moment is when the pigments get mixed inside the water and spread chaotically. The transparency, the lack of control, the depth of the colors in that moment is what I enjoy the most.
So I started to wonder how code could help fix that moment in time and started chatting with my bestie Claudy.
Early WIP so don't mind the look.
Four Recursers built an arcade cabinet that you can ship games to by pushing to GitHub. It has a real CRT with a custom display adapter, and over 50 new games made by the RC community.

@lionel_mora The dark edges look amazing!
I recently had Claude build a watercolor library off the same SIGGRAPH paper for creative coding & a friend optimized it for the GPU! It might have functionality and papers you might like for your V2: https://t.co/P2nxPVlzzS
@ironandsilk LOL, I'll never forget how it felt when I heard Don Draper make that pitch to Kodak.
+ you hit the nail on the head! The depth explorations started after @bennyschudel posted a provocation to think about UI within a 3D space and posted Apple's OG Time Machine UI. 🌌
Let me introduce you to @castavridis who is the lead design engineer for our design system initiative. We are currently exploring the next generation of interactive elements making shaders a primary part of the presentation.
@marchantweb@pmndrs Ooo! Please do and share your explorations! I've been delighted by shader-enhanced micro interactions recently so I'm exploring ways to embed little moments of 🪄 in the @pmndrs design system.
@NoahMacMillan I love @TheUniverse’s collection of corporate illustrations in tech. It documents the illustration styles that @nrose and @MattStevensCLT touched on: https://t.co/JqiWk4Osb9
