@Uvalajnr A colleague had his appendix out and I remember him telling me that afterwards he could feel other organs โslopping aroundโ into the space made. ๐ถ
@SGTWipper1Each A house where a woman had died in bed, and her son who was adult but mentally disabled didnโt know what to do, so just put a duvet over her and left her there for 18 months or so. In 20 plus years in uniform Iโve never smelt anything like it. Very sad.
@history99917180@gordon861 Indeed. In fact calm pre emptive stinger deployments are often the best/safest because youโre lowering risk substantially.
@JackLinFLL Went into a sunken large ship a good few years ago, a couple of metres only, and that was enough, I was back out rapidly and never did it again. โNever go in an overhead environmentโ is taught to new divers for good reason.
@notlistenning1 Protection teams work odd hours in odd places. Whilst I have no idea about the specific circs of this I doubt they always return weapons to a Nick at end of tour. But who knows what happened.
@WeaponsVault Was using one (infrequently) in the mid 2000โs doing CP work. SIG 226. Useful if you canโt wear a jacket ie very hot and you donโt want your weapon being seen.
@BettyBoochichi2 If done properly itโll be positive. The last time they tried the chiefs (I believe) fought hard against it; not sure whether because they didnโt think it would work or through self preservation.
@CopMoustache I always found it curious that you had to list all your family who you canโt choose- but not your friends, who you do choose. As the saying goes, โshow me a manโs friends and Iโll show you the manโ With the exception of DV I think vetting is a very limited tool to assess people
