@stoneyyg_tv @F1 Course but maybe he too should have lifted and gone a bit wider because he knew how close Ham was on the inside. He had more to lose being on the outside.
@OJBMUFC @crvalerio23@F1 Lewis didn’t hit him off, Max came across him tagging his back wheel, it was a simply risky move and he could have took a less tight line - he would have won the race as usual if he avoided contact here.
@Mike25037669 @Silvea_DW@SocialJoins@F1 I agree it’s one of those situations though where Max should look at the bigger picture. This particular move knowing Lewis was there (and crash was imminent if he didn’t slam brakes) was risky…
@OJBMUFC @crvalerio23@F1 He should have gone a longer way round that’s for sure. Who came out worse? He should have been patient he had the Red Bull car and the 33 point lead which is now 7.
@Mike25037669 @Silvea_DW@SocialJoins@F1 This is true but doesn’t change the fact that roles reversed, Max won’t have backed out either, he should have been more patient with the more to lose right?
@OG_TCMK@ImGerrardicted I did and the incidents are different, if anything it shows LeClerc being a less aggressive and more patient driver than Max as he didn’t force the corner knowing someone was on his inside
@OJBMUFC @crvalerio23@F1 By taking a risky turn on the corner knowing full well Lewis was there on the right. He risked it hoping Lewis would pull out, but he didn’t and paid for it! Was avoidable from both.
@OG_TCMK@ImGerrardicted It’s not the first time that Max has gotten his elbows out. He expects people to yield all the time and most of the time (Lewis inc this season) they do. But he should fight with more patience in his Red Bull with his 33 point lead! He had more to lose…
