@altagers The best part is if you're not a native speaker you'll have difficult time with some accents, especially from people outside of your language group. I struggle sometimes with this, then there's slang too lol. Keep it up and don't bash yourself, there's always something to learn

your “later” has been living rent free for way too long. you say you’ll start tomorrow. tomorrow comes, you move it again. then somehow the goal you were so serious about is now three weeks old. @Applockin takes a different approach. instead of asking you to feel motivated, it gives your commitment something to lose. you set the goal, lock in, and decide how you want to prove you actually did it. finish it, you keep what’s yours. don’t, and the commitment comes with a consequence. that’s the part i find interesting about what @castioonbase is building. not another app screaming “be productive.” just a little more weight behind the words “i’ll do it.”

what if procrastination had a price? not a motivational quote, not another notification telling you to get your life together. something that actually makes “i’ll do it tomorrow” feel a little more expensive. that’s where @Applockin gets interesting. you set a goal, choose a deadline, and put in physical cash behind the commitment. you can verify it yourself if you’re honest enough bc @Applockin isn't about stalking you or bring in someone to confirm you actually followed through. because sometimes motivation disappears, but a commitment with something at stake hits a little differently. that’s the idea @castioonbase is building around with https://t.co/seBoIKmRyL

what if the best token wasn’t the one everyone was talking about? that’s the idea i find interesting about @casterdotfun. new tokens get attention every day, but most of that attention disappears as soon as the next launch comes around. https://t.co/ZfqG7SvU7P is building around a different incentive. holders of the best new token each day can be rewarded, giving people a reason to look beyond the loudest launch and actually find something worth holding. i like that @castioonbase is thinking about what happens after the hype. because sometimes the interesting part isn’t who gets attention first. it’s who still has it when the noise moves on.

Happy birthday, Celebration Hub. The app we love. Development started a year and a half ago, but the launch happened exactly one year ago. In that time the app grew from a simple reminder mini-app, limited to one env and one purpose, into a full-fledged social app that works for users everywhere and actually delivers value. Over its lifetime: 60k+ users, 20k profiles, 18462 gifts sent, 3618 special dates added. I think that we never dropped out of the top 100 on the @base chain and @farcaster_xyz leaderboards — even though most new users are offchain users. This year I went through Base Batches three times. In 003 we landed in the top 1–5%, 004 results are still ahead. We applied to YC and made the top 10%. I talked about Celebration Hub from the FarCon stage. My multiplatform agent, which handles sending gifts and tipping, received a FarHack grant — and a couple of months later the app itself received a grant from @clanker_world (CEF). We received support from the ex-base team and were also featured on the Base reddit. I talked with VCs, thought through tokenization, spoke with launchpad teams. Thats a brilliant experience! The goal is the same: Make it easier to remember important dates, send something personal, and give online friends a place to celebrate together. Always curious what comes next.
