Castle Ward residents are keen to speak at planning meetings. Despite this being allowed under standing orders of the Council, Cllr Jones, Dep Chair of Planning seems to confirm that the committee will continue to block residents from speaking for the time being. V disappointing

Lloydie and Will have been litter picking in the Cliff Road area of the city centre this afternoon. Several bags of rubbish collected and a bit of fly tipping reported to @MyNottingham too
The sign in The Park pointing to Derby Road and Canning Circus seems to have received an unusual adornment. Lloydie has unsheathed the sign so people might find their way unhindered
The Liberal Democrats were the first to call for this to become a Green Gateway to the city four years ago. Although disappointingly small, this is a welcome step towards more green in our city

A Lime bike found abandoned in the middle of South Road in The Park. Lloydie had moved it onto the pavement and reported it to Lime who have sent a team to retrieve it
It is astounding that a letter to residents here in Castle Ward, that appeared to be from the City Council, was actually paid for by the Labour Party. We are pressing for answers on this from the Chief Executive of @MyNottingham
