Taken from Budget 2024, this table shows the Government is projecting to take nearly £2bn out of British food production and the rural economy during the course of this Parliament.

Surely this was worth a mention in the Labour manifesto?

@MrLloydJames The more highly geared the farming business is, the less inheritance tax it will pay? Make sure you’ve done your sums though. Risky!

Alternatively farm like you’ll live forever and make sure you do live forever. Not so risky, but more difficult to achieve…
