An apple tree does not strain to produce apples. It does not attend seminars on fruit or make resolutions in January.
It bears apples because that is what it is. Many of us treat right living like a performance, trying hard to behave and feeling guilty when we slip.
The better starting point is who you already are in Christ, because your actions grow out of that.

RIGHT LIVING BEGINS WITH RIGHTEOUSNES
📖For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Many Christians sincerely love God. They worship passionately, pray fervently, and strive to live holy lives. Yet, despite their sincerity, they continue trying to attain what God has already given them in Christ. They believe that if they pray more, do more good works, or become more disciplined, they'll eventually become righteous. But that's not the Gospel.
The Bible makes a clear distinction between righteousness and right living. Righteousness is your nature in Christ; right living is the expression of that nature. In other words, right living is the result of righteousness, not the means of attaining it.
If righteousness could be achieved through human effort, Jesus Christ would never have needed to come. His death, burial, and resurrection made available what no amount of personal striving could ever produce. The moment you were born again, you were made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It wasn't a reward for good behaviour or years of faithful service; it was God's gracious gift to you in Christ (Romans 5:17).
2 Corinthians 5:21 says,
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Because you've been made righteous, you now have the capacity to live right. Just as a good tree naturally bears good fruits, your recreated spirit produces fruits and works of righteousness because that's your nature.
God's order isalways from the inside out. He first gave you His righteousness as your nature, and now He expects that nature to find expression in your thoughts, words, and actions. This is why the Christian life isn't sustained by self-effort butby the life of Christ in you, manifested through your daily walk.
Never measure your standing before God by your “performance.” Your righteous standing is founded on the finishedworksofChrist: _*“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”* (Ephesians 2:8-9).
As you grow in the knowledge of who you are in Him, your conductincreasingly reflectsHisrighteousness that's already at work within you. That’s because right living is the inevitable result of righteousness.
🙏PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me your righteousness in Christ Jesus. I live in the reality of my new life and nature in Christ, producing the works and fruits of righteousness through the power of your Spirit. My life is the expression of your divine nature, excellence, holiness and victory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.
Luke 12:48 KJV

God does not invest in your life for nothing. Every blessing, gift, lesson, and open door carries responsibility. If much has been given to you, much will be required from you. Use what God has placed in your life, and let Him receive fruit from His investment.
One of the clearest places false doctrine exposes itself is in the doctrine of justification. Many errors can remain hidden for a while behind Christian language, religious activity, sacraments, morality, or spiritual experience. But eventually the question has to be answered: How can a guilty sinner stand righteous before a holy God?
Scripture answers with breathtaking clarity. “Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24). God declares the ungodly righteous through faith in Christ because Christ has satisfied divine justice, borne the curse, and provided the righteousness we could never produce for ourselves. Paul says that God “justifies the ungodly” and that faith is credited as righteousness (Romans 4:5).
This is why Paul reacted so severely in Galatians. The false teachers were not denying everything about Jesus. They were adding something to Christ as necessary for acceptance before God. Paul understood what was at stake: “If righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly” (Galatians 2:21). Add human merit to the ground of justification and the sufficiency of Christ is immediately wounded.
Every system that ultimately sends the sinner back to himself has misunderstood the gospel at its centre. Whether the confidence is placed in works, rituals, moral improvement, religious performance, personal worthiness, or some supposed spiritual achievement, the result is the same. The sinner is being taught to look within himself for part of what God has provided completely in His Son.
Paul abandoned every religious credential he once trusted so that he might “be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ” (Philippians 3:9). That is the heart of justification. Our standing before God rests entirely upon Christ and His righteousness received by faith.
This is why justification is never a small theological debate. Get this wrong and the gospel itself is distorted. Get this right and boasting dies, grace is magnified, Christ is sufficient, and the sinner has peace with God. “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
