Both Ava & Eli received awards at the academic awards ceremony. Eli received an award for Graphic Design 1. Ava received one for DC Dollars & Sense and a stole for TSI. Last week she received cords for Dual Credit, ACADEC & HiQ. Proud of them for their hard work all year.

My daughter received amazing news! She is one of the Chihuahua’s All-Star Scholarship $5,000 winners! She will be awarded at the July 18th game before the fireworks. Super proud of her hard work & dedication throughout the years. @Eastlake_HS_ @CMartin_EHS @SISD_FineArts

Mariachi Falco had their end of year concert last night & the Seniors were recognized. My daughter, Ava, had a part in “El Gustito.” Proud of my beautiful daughter for putting herself out there. I can’t wait to see where her musical talents take her.@CMartin_EHS @Eastlake_HS_

While my son was receiving his District Art Show awards at the DSC yesterday evening, I was at my daughter’s Top 15 Dinner. Super proud of Ava for not only excelling in her academics, but also in Art, Orchestra, Mariachi Falco & in HiQ. @Eastlake_HS @Eastlake_HS_ @SISD_FineArts

My student, Daniela Fuentes, also received a platinum medal at the District Art Show yesterday evening. Her artwork received the Superintendent’s Choice award so it will be staying on display at the DSC for one year.🎉 @Eastlake_HS @Eastlake_HS_ @CMartin_EHS @SISD_FineArts

The Board of Trustees honored recipients of the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the nation’s longest-running program recognizing creative teens in grades 7–12 across 28 categories. One #TeamSISD student earned a national Silver Medal for her drawing, placing in the top 1% of more than 300,000 entries. Congratulations to these exceptional artists!
