It is dismal that Junior and senior residents of govt medical colleges under punjab govt are recieving nearly half the stipend of JRs and SRs of PGIMER chd , delhi govt medical colleges and neighbouring state govt medical colleges. 1/2 @CMOPb @capt_amarinder @HarsimratBadal_

MBBS Interns of ASSAM are getting 31500/month stipend and there fees Are very nominal.

GOVT. MEDICAL COLLEGE PUNJAB FEES 4.4 LAC but STIPEND is 15000.

GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE CHD. FEES IS 1.4 LAC but STIPEND is 18000.

It's been 2 days since medical interns raised the issue of ridiculous stipend of Rs 300/day being received by them. Urge CM @capt_amarinder to intervene & raise their stipend besides giving them insurance cover. I assure interns full support in their fight to correct this wrong.

I’d like to highlight 2 SEPARATE issues : 1) Raise in stipend PROPORTIONATE to rise in fees 2) Raise in stipend for interns working in the pandemic . I urge @capt_amarinder sir to consider them BOTH and deliver justice .
