THIRTY YEARS IS A LONG TIME TO STAY SILENT
1/10
How It Started
I have been quiet for a very long time.
Not because I had nothing to say. Not because I forgot what happened. And certainly not because somebody else's version of my life becomes true simply because it is repeated while I remain silent.
I am actually an extremely open person. I can talk to almost anyone about almost anything. But being open is not the same as surrendering your privacy.
For years, I chose privacy.
Now I want to tell the chronology from my side.
This story does not begin with a song, an argument, social media, a festival, or a reaction somebody wants to isolate and use to define me.
It begins roughly thirty years ago.
And if you're going to judge my reaction, you need to know what came before it.
THE FRIEND WHO KNEW EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING
One of the central people in this story was a childhood friend, younger than me, who became a mother at sixteen.
Through that friendship, I became exposed to people and situations very different from the environment my own family had created for me. I witnessed instability, relationships involving criminality, prison, financial problems and complicated family situations.
She knew me before any of the later drama existed.
She went to clubs with me when we were young. She knew the Brazilian DJ from those days. She knew the history between us long before success, status, money or international recognition entered the picture.
That matters.
She wasn't somebody who heard about my past twenty years later.
She was there.
Over the years, her own life went through periods of enormous instability. More than once she found herself without somewhere secure to live.
And more than once she came to me.
I helped.
That became a pattern throughout my life:
Someone was in trouble, and my instinct was to help.
Years later, however, I discovered that somebody who knew my history intimately was discussing me behind my back, including communicating with the Brazilian DJ.
That was the betrayal.
Eventually I said something incredibly simple:
I don't want this friendship anymore.
I wasn't trying to destroy anybody.
I withdrew myself.
Apparently, for some people, losing access to you can be treated as a greater offence than whatever happened to make you leave.

What’s mine will come back to me—money, ID, inheritance. Those who attacked me begin to get sick and lose their possessions, yet they might never realize that to end this, they need to take accountability and take good actions toward the people they’ve used and hurt. Or do they truly plan to die without redeeming themselves?
One question is all it takes. Light a candle, ask the universe, and let your Tarot Reading arrive like a message written just for you among the stars.
