My (military) husband received specific training to recognise the signs of PTSD - PTSD is culturally defined by its military history but as @rhiannonlucyc writes it can happen to anyone. IMO we could learn as a society from the military about how to create a culture of acceptance

My therapist referred to rain as liquid sunshine earlier, because it nourishes the earth just as the sun does. A change of perspective is always important. Therapists are the most valuable things on this stupid earth.

@jesstud It's so true! As we've emerged from lockdown here I also see that play is central to the neighbourhood structure in Madrid, 3 of the 4 play parks within 15 minutes have been upgraded - the time they were out of bounds was used to make them better! Happened to outdoor gyms too!
