The largest EVER 4 day work week pilot, involving 360k people, happened in May when four public holidays fell in a row in Valencia 🇪🇸
Here's the results:
🟩 Happiness: + 18%
🟩 Traffic: -9.5%
🟩 Job/life satisfaction: +12%
🟩 Physical exercise: +16%

There is, of course, things the councils can do to help. However it’s never as simple as one thing.
Many issues related to commercial rents & who owns the property of the high street. Also charges are necessary for waste collections etc.
If every adult in #Wales chose to spend £5 a week in a local, independent business *instead* of spending that £5 #online or in a major #supermarket chain what would this do?
It would keep £520 million a year circulating in the Welsh economy.
That is just from £5 a week.
Kenya banned single-use plastics in 2017. Single use plastics cannot be brought into the country.
Cymru has yet to do so, even though the Senedd & Welsh Labour have discussed doing so.
