What a stupid logic!

1. Completing MBBS is not a measure of competence because first, candidates enter MBBS through the same diluted cut-offs and reservation regime, and then pass due to an increasingly lenient examination system.

There was a time under Pune University in Maharashtra when nearly half a batch failed First MBBS. After liberalisation and the shift to MUHS, Nashik, failure became uncommon. And since NMC replaced MCI, failure has become impossible thanks to commercialisation, lenient exams, inflated internals, moderation, and fear of complaints ensure that once admitted, students pass regardless of competence.

2. If qualifying MBBS truly guaranteed clinical and cognitive competence, that competence would logically manifest in NEET-PG. Instead, the system now requires dragging the cut-off down to –40 to accommodate candidates. In an exam where someone blindly marking one option for all questions can score 50 marks, someone scoring –40 reflects the lowest level of intellectual performance known to mankind. Can you call them competent?

If MBBS alone guarantees competence, NEET-PG is redundant. Ranking is pointless. Merit is irrelevant. Random seat allocation would suffice.

So a better logic from the Centre would have been that they are reducing the cut-off to minus 40 to foil some deep-state conspiracy, which the cattle class would realise in 2047.

भाई मेरे, मोदी ने जो लिमिट क्रॉस की, जिससे 30-40 करोड़ सवर्णों की रेड मारी जा रही है, उससे ज्यादा डैमेज मैंने कर दिया?

जिस सरकार को हमने हिन्दू एकता के लिए चुना था, वह एक्टिवली समाज को विभाजित करने का उपक्रम कर रहा है और लिमिट मैं क्रॉस कर रहा हूँ?

सारा सत्य बाहर आने के बाद भी पूरी सरकार, पूरी पार्टी, पूरा संघ चुप है, या अंबेडकर-अंबेडकर रट रहा है, और लिमिट मैं क्रॉस कर रहा हूँ?

सोच-समझ कर सामान्य वर्ग को एक्सक्लूड किया जा रहा है और वह सबको दिख रहा है। मैं इस विभीषिका पर लगातार यदि नहीं बोलूँगा (चाहे परिणाम जो भी हो), तो मैं अपनी पत्रकारिता के साथ धोखेबाजी कर रहा हूँ। इसलिए, पतितों को उनके दायित्व का स्मरण कराने के लिए, मैं लिमिट क्रॉस करूँगा ही!

मैंने फिरोज खान का बीएचयू वाला विषय उठाया था, अंत तक लिखा-बोला। मैंने दिल्ली दंगों का विषय उठाया था, जब तक सरकार ने हाथ में नहीं लिया, हर विक्टिम तक पहुँचा। मैंने बंगाल राजनैतिक हत्या का मामला उठाया था, बीस से अधिक पीड़ित परिवार से मिला, न्याय दिलाने में सफलता नहीं मिली, उसे स्वीकारा।

सोशल मीडिया पर ऐसे ही कई विषय पर मैं ‘जो घर जारो आपनो’ वाले मोड में लिखता बोलता रहा हूँ। प्रदूषण हो, इथेनॉल हो, मोहन यादव का आरक्षण वाला विषय हो, जहाँ भी गलत थी सरकार मैंने बोला है, लम्बे समय तक बोला है।

इन तीनों विषयों में सरकार पतित हो गई, तब मैंने बोलना बंद कर दिया। जहाँ मुझे आशा रहती है, मैं लिमिट क्रॉस करता ही हूँ। लिमिट कौन तय करेगा? लिमिट तो केवल विषय तय करेगा।

पतितों की तरह, यूजीसी प्रकरण पर @BJP4India को कुछ सुझाव दे रहा हूँ:

१. धर्मेंद्र प्रधान बिना किसी स्पष्टीकरण के हटाए जाएँ।

२. यूजीसी वाली संसदीय कमिटी में जो भी सदस्य भाजपा के थे, उनमें से जो भी वामपंथियों के साथ कॉम्प्रोमाइज्ड हैं, उन्हें निकाला जाए।

३. अतिमहत्वपूर्ण: सामान्य वर्ग के निर्धन छात्र-छात्राओं को अनुसूचित जाति के स्तर की निःशुल्क/सब्सिडी की सुविधा- निःशुल्क कोचिंग, परीक्षा के फॉर्म, हॉस्टल की फीस, कोर्स की फीस आदि SC के समकक्ष। ऐसा करने से किसी को कोई समस्या नहीं होगी।

४. UGC-AICTE को समाप्त करने वाले बिल को बजट सत्र में ही ला कर यह कहें कि पूर्व के जो भी नियम हैं, उन्हें वर्तमान परिस्थितियों के आलोक में समीक्षा के उपरांत ही लागू किया जाएगा एवम् समाज के हर वर्ग का उचित ध्यान रखा जाएगा। कैम्पस को पुलिस थाना नहीं बनने देंगे।

५. हर नेता की भाषा में ‘दलित-वंचित-पीड़ित’ जैसी शब्दावली का लोप और ‘हर वर्ग के लिए समर्पित’ जैसे वाक्यांशों का प्रयोग। टोन में यह बदलाव काफी सहायक सिद्ध होगा।

६. पार्टी के लिए ‘नैरेटिव बनाने वाली’ हर कंपनी का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट रद्द करें, ऑडिट हो कि इन्होंने कौन सा सर्वे सही किया, किस विषय पर कितना नैरेटिव बनाया, पार्टी के लिए कौन से बीस अकाउंट बनाए जो प्रभावशाली कहे जा सकते हैं। जो कसौटी पर खड़ा उतरे उसे रखें।

७. अम्बेडकर को बाप मानना बंद करें। जितना कर दिए, वही जितनी घृणा उत्पन्न कर रहा है, वह आपसे हैंडल नहीं हो सकेगा।

८. आइटी सेल (के नाम से चलने वाले, या माने जाने वाले) हैंडलों को पार्टी-विरोधी गतिविधि करने से रोकें। उन्हें समझाएँ कि किसी को पर्सनल गाली दे कर पार्टी को सामूहिक क्षति पहुँचाना किस स्तर की मूर्खता है। ऐसे लोगों को बताएँ कि उनकी डिफेंस पार्टी पर कितनी भारी पड़ रही है।

९. वैसी कोई योजना न बनाएँ जिसमें SC/ST/OBC का तुष्टिकरण स्पष्ट दिखे। जिन चीजों को माँगा न जाए, वो दे कर पागल न करें।

१०. कैम्पस और सोशल मीडिया में ब्राह्मण-घृणा फैलाने वाले लोगों पर पुलिसिया कार्रवाई, हैंडलों पर भारत में प्रतिबंध। इस बात की स्वीकार्यता हो कि ऐसी कोई बात हो रही है देश में जो नारेबाजी से आरंभ हो कर अब एक ब्राह्मण छात्र को बाथरूम में बंद कर, अग्निशामक से शुष्क कार्बन डाई ऑक्साइड चला कर मारने तक पहुँच चुका है। विक्टिम कार्ड नहीं, उचित कार्रवाई का आश्वासन और एक्शन।

११. हर राज्य में कुकुरमुत्ते की तरह पास होते सामान्य वर्ग के हिन्दुओं को अपराधी बनाने वाले कानून (BC एट्रोसिटी एक्ट) पर आपकी पार्टी के वकील उसका प्रतिकार कोर्ट में करें। या, आप उसे सर्वसमावेशी बनाने पर बल दें कि जातिवादी घृणा का शिकार किसी भी जाति का व्यक्ति हो सकता है।

१२. किसी बड़े नेता द्वारा किसी पॉडकास्ट आदि पर यह स्वीकार कराएँ कि पार्टी की चुप्पी ने बहुत क्षति पहुँचाई, दोनों ही तरफ के लोग अपने हैं, उनके कन्सर्न्स उचित हैं। यह भी कि यह नियमावली वर्तमान परिस्थितियों को देखने की जगह वामपंथी प्रायोजित विमर्श को सत्य मान कर बनाई गई, जो अनुचित है।

१३. कोर्ट यदि ऐसे मामलों में कोई निर्णय दे, तो उसे पलट कर राजीव गाँधी न बनें।

There are two kinds of arguments in support of this abomination:

1. So what if he got 1/800? They’ll teach him for 3 years and make them a good doctor. Lol. Five years of MBBS couldn’t make them score even 100 out of 800, and you think they’ll turn them into Einstein in three more years? If anyone can be “trained,” why have entrance exams at all? Why have minimum qualifying marks? Just do a lucky draw and allot courses.

Minimum qualifying marks are necessary to ensure candidates have the basic aptitude and foundational understanding needed to safely train and work in a high-stakes profession like medicine. Without this, training quality and patient safety are compromised.

2. Orthopedics and surgery are skill-based. Poor academics doesn’t mean poor surgical skills. Lol. In that case, enroll carpenters and teach them surgery. With due respect, they have better control and hand-eye coordination than most doctors. They’ll make excellent surgeons.

Pure technical skill can repeat a procedure, but without deep understanding of the subject, it cannot improvise, troubleshoot, or save a life when the textbook operation collapses into chaos. Every operative decision depends on anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology, not just hand-eye coordination. Without this foundation, a surgeon may execute movements well but make fatal errors in indication, timing, technique, or postoperative care, making skill alone a recipe for disaster.

- Orthopaedics seat filled at:
4 marks out of 800.

- Obstetrics and Gynaecology seat:
44 marks out of 800.

- General surgery seat filled at:
47 marks out of 800.

- Biochemistry:
minus 8 marks out of 800.

- Transfusion medicine:
10 marks out of 800.

- Anatomy:
11 marks out of 800.

These extremely low scores at which seats were actually allotted indicate a serious crisis in academic standards. There should be a reasonable minimum qualifying merit, as it is crucial for maintaining the integrity of medical education and healthcare system.
