@GameTikker My duck brings a kitchen knife that hits up to four targets, bombs on the run and a rolling pin instead of a dash — into a forest of fruit monsters.
Don't Duck With Me, cozy incremental, Q1 2027 🦆
@igdmag A duck with a kitchen knife vs fruit monsters. Combat drops zero gold — the fruit goes into a pachinko board upstairs, and that's what pays for everything.
Solo in Godot, Q1 2027.

This duck fights with a kitchen knife that hits up to four targets, bombs thrown on the run, and a rolling pin instead of a dash.
Against a whole forest of fruit monsters.

@3rdEchoSounds All 16 wearables in my game come out of one gacha bag of 44 balls with no replacement — not a drop table, and the first ball is always a red gem.
Don't Duck With Me, solo in Godot, Q1 2027 🦆
16 floors. 248 upgrade nodes. 12 fruit monsters. 16 wearables, and every single one comes out of a gacha bag of 44 balls with no replacement.
A duck with a kitchen knife, Q1 2027.

@VideoGameCream A duck with a kitchen knife vs fruit monsters. Killing them pays zero gold: the fruit goes into a pachinko machine upstairs, and that pays for everything.
Solo dev in Godot, release Q1 2027 🦆

Killing monsters in my game pays nothing. Zero gold.
The fruit they drop goes into a pachinko machine upstairs, and that's the only thing that pays.

@GamefolioGG Solo dev here, six months out from release and spending today on boss chests that pretend to be loot until you get close. Good Monday so far.
@TheGamerSection Don't Duck With Me — a cozy fantasy incremental where the monsters are fruit and you blend them into smoothies. Four biomes, sixteen floors, and a duck with a kitchen knife. Shipping Q1 2027.
@OverageGmngCom Ours is a cozy fantasy incremental: a duck with a kitchen knife, 248 upgrade nodes and three currencies. Which branch would you buy first?
@SnailBiteGames The AutoModerator comment is the lonely part. The only thing that ever worked for me was posting one weird mechanic instead of a trailer, and even then it's a coin flip.
@Mistborn_Games Something cool about mine: all 16 hats and outfits for the duck come only from the gacha machine, none are unlocked by playing. The crown sits on his head completely differently from the chef's hat, and that's on purpose.
@GamefolioGG Here's the recipe book from mine. Three fruits per biome, seven smoothies: three pure, three pairs, one of everything. A pure smoothie's price grows with the square of the cup size.
@RoboFarmGame Fun fact: our gacha isn't a probability table, it's a bag of 44 balls drawn without replacement. Every pull makes the next one better, and the very first ball is always a red gem.
@3rdEchoSounds A duck with a kitchen knife. The monsters are fruit, and you carry them back up to blend them into smoothies. Cozy fantasy incremental, out Q1 2027.

@Round_Knights_2 Strange mechanic, then: the dungeon in my game pays zero gold. You bring fruit monsters back up and the pachinko machine pays instead — nine cups, a full cup becomes a smoothie, the smoothie becomes gold.
