If reports are true, @Dave_Filoni’ll co-run @Lucasfilm w/ Lynwen Brennan, once Kathy Kennedy supposedly steps down later this year.

We need the apprentice of George Lucas running Star Wars w/ a partner, like how James Gunn & Peter Safran run DC over at Warner Bros.

But yet you people haven’t learned shit from how you treated George Lucas when he made the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy and the Special Editions seeing as you’re treating Filoni in a similar manner.

What do I mean?

Well think about how you wrongly shouted about how George Lucas “raped” your childhood because he wanted to make his movies the way he wanted with Greedo shooting first, the Vader “NO,” making Ewoks blink, CG Jabba the Hutt, CG Sy Snootles with a better musical number, CG Sarlaac Pitt, and blinking Ewoks, along with the Prequels introducing Jar Jar Binks, Hayden Christensen Anakin, even though kids liked him more than you could, even I like Jar Jar more than you and I’m 29.

And you do all that w/o even realizing how much George has done for you all. Beyond even creating Star Wars, Lucas opened so many doors as far as technology goes, even beyond or related to Star Wars. Nonlinear audio editing, digital editing, all that stuff was developed by George Lucas via those who worked under his stewardship at Lucasfilm, at ILM, at Skywalker Sound, and at Pixar (which really wouldn’t have existed without him and Steve Jobs, NOT Lasseter) and all those places where the impact is still being felt today. When you call him a sell-out because people thinks he makes the Blu-Rays only for money, he puts out the Blu-Rays so he can take that money and put it back into the system to developing things for the industry, like new film cameras, filming techniques, or evolving VFX. And he even used his cash to fund public education.

What have u ever done?

Now look at how you’re treating Filoni, just cuz audiences love (more than Andor) his SW cartoons, many of which he worked on with George Lucas and how they’ve won as many awards as your precious Andor, b-cuz he has shows, some of which he worked on w/ Favreau, that appeal to all audiences as @StarWars should more than Andor, and because he chooses to make @StarWars stories his way, similarly like how George Lucas did. And not the least of which you crap on legacy characters appearing as “Glup Shitto,” wrongly, when they add to making the #StarWars galaxy as connected as it should be.

I mean gimme a break. Gimme a frickin break, assholes. It’s ridiculous.

Filoni’s a person. He’s a dude, he’s a guy, he’s a husband, and he’s a dad, like George was.

He’s not some bot that doesn’t learn.

He hears you when you beg him to shoot his Star Wars stories without The Volume being used, hence why Ahsoka Season 2 was shot in the UK without the Volume.

He hears you when say he should learn from others to get into making theatrical movies, when he did that via working w/ Walter Murch during the making of the Umbara arc from Season 4 of The Clone Wars, Rian Johnson on The Last Jedi, and even the creator of Star Wars himself George Lucas.

He hears you when you say “make your Star Wars stories better.”

Just like how George heard you when you did things like create petitions asking him NOT to interfere with the EU, make films like People Vs George Lucas, or say “George Lucas raped my childhood,” which, BTW, in the case of the latter 2 things you did to George, really was too far of you all to do & say to a man who almost died making A New Hope to the point of not directing films til The Phantom Menace in 1999.

I mean IMAGINE, imagine how hurtful doing that can be.

Would you do or say that to him? Would you do or say that to his kids? Would you do or say that to his wife? And call yourself a fan?

You’d better not do or say that to Dave Filoni and his wife too.
