Spend more time processing your real emotions and less time trying to justify to others why your emotions are valid. You don’t need anyone’s permission to feel how you feel.
Overgivers and people pleasers have such a difficult time realizing that if you walk your own authentic path, certain people are naturally going to dislike you and be triggered by you. And that’s there isn’t anything you need to fix about that. Only to recognize and accept it.
Most people spend a lifetime running from themselves into the arms of other people. If you want a love story get comfortable with difficult conversations and facing the "dark" parts of yourself.
True love is confronting.
To treat people well you have to respect yourself. You have to honor your word, your soul, and have pure intentions. When these things aren't within yourself, they won't be there with another person.
May the grieving be comforted.
May the unseen be seen.
May the abandoned be held.
May the terror be replaced with peace.
May we be a part of the change we wish to see.
It’s human to realize, I don’t have all of the answers. Especially when you see so many others who claim to. But you do have a part. Your open heart is a powerful force of change. The ability to listen, learn, grow, grieve for yourself and others requires your courage and love.
Rest is productive.
Productivity conditioning runs deep.
No, we don’t always need to be doing something. Our body needs to process and return to a parasympathetic state.
Constant “doing” is keeping us in survival mode.
I wore a mask prior to mandates. I wore it when it was mandated. I kept wearing it when it wasn’t mandated. Then I kept wearing when it was again. Then when it wasn’t mandated anywhere, I kept wearing it. Why? Because I’m not following along. I just don’t like getting sick.
