@defense_of_fam I’m in a new (to me) ward and the culture has been very different. It’s taught me a good lesson in not judging when it’s not my place. One elderly man (who has been coming in shorts) had on a white shirt and tie today! I felt so happy for him and I think he did too!

@OutFrontCNN @tomforemancnn Anyone who was lucky enough to take Home Ec in school had to do the math to know the cost per serving for each recipe. This is the standard. You are expected to be smart enough to understand you will be using the leftover ingredients in other recipes.

@txsalth2o I lived in Hawaii about 40 years ago, and it was bad enough back then. I got a job at a new museum in Waikiki, but the only other white worker and I were let go for obvious reasons. I especially felt bad for him because he was by far the best worker they had.
