It's been 8 months since my hysterectomy. And let me tell you, my quality of life has improved exponentially! Best decision of my life. I am finally pain-free, and it feels AMAZING.
Ladies - please advocate for your health. If you know something is wrong, something is off, or all of your symptoms point to one thing, DO NOT let any doctor, nurse or surgeon gaslight you into thinking nothing is wrong. PLEASE keep fighting.
@Cloverbeech Yeah, it was pretty extensive. Diagnosis took about 7 years. Glad its all over, and since everything was removed, I was told that it won't come back.
@Cloverbeech It was so severe. Surgery was 4 hours long, the longest that the surgeon had ever done. She never ended up telling me how bad my endometriosis was, but the clinical notes were shocking. Pathology also found pre-cancerous cells in my uterus.
