Yosef Alziadna was one of the great heroes of October 7th. That morning he was asleep in bed when a friend called him to help. Alziadna drove past Be'eri under fire, reached the party grounds and packed 30 people into his 14-seat minibus.
Today, the State of Israel destroyed his storage shed and chicken coop, tore out what was left of his nephew's house (the nephew had already knocked it down himself to avoid a forced demolition), and damaged land.
This is how Israel treats its Palestinian citizens. No matter how much you serve the Zionist regime, you will remain subhuman to them.
In 1939, 20-year-old Jesse Lee Bond was lynched in Tennessee after asking a store for a receipt. More than eight decades later, his great-granddaughter, Kyra Harris Bolden, made history at just 34 years old as the first Black woman to serve on the Michigan Supreme Court.
BREAKING: DHS contractors are toppling the last of four ancient cottonwoods to build double border walls across the San Rafael Valley.
The wall cuts through the key remaining wildlife corridor for endangered jaguars between Arizona and Sonora, where human border crossings are seldom seen.
A protest camp had occupied and protected this tree for more than 60 days, halting construction. The camp was raided and campers were arrested this morning.
This wall will effectively lock the remaining jaguars in the U.S. into solitary confinement, while permanently marring one of the last remaining wild places along the Arizona border.
There are no “settlers” in Palestine.
The term “settlers” mischaracterizes the invaders who engage in land theft, intimidation, occupation, forced removal, and murder to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from the region and illegally annex the West Bank.
While spending time with multiple leaders and families in Palestine, it is beyond evident that the “settlers” also known as Hilltop Youth, are not rioters who are acting alone. Invader outposts line the hills of villages throughout West Bank and attacks on families and their homes happen daily under the protection of Israeli military funded by U.S. tax dollars.
Our delegation came face to face with one of the Hilltop Youth ringleaders (Amichav Melat) when we went with our host to his family’s olive grove to which he had not been able to access and harvest for nearly three years due to invaders.
For twenty winters, the only mail that got across the Sierra Nevada was carried by one man on a pair of homemade skis.
The United States government never paid him a dollar for it.
His name was Jon Torsteinson-Rue. He was born in Telemark, Norway, in 1827, came to America at ten, and ended up farming in California. Americans called him John Thompson.
The problem he solved was this. From roughly November to April, the Sierra closed. The settlements over on the Nevada side, in the Carson Valley, were completely cut off from California for five months a year. No mail, no newspapers, no medicine, no word about anything happening anywhere.
In 1856 Thompson read about it and realized that where he came from, this would not have been considered a problem. Norwegians had been crossing deep snow on skis for centuries. Almost nobody in America had ever seen a pair.
So he carved himself some out of oak, working from childhood memory. They were close to ten feet long and weighed twenty five pounds. He used one long pole held in both hands for balance and braking rather than a pair.
In January 1856 he made his first crossing, from Placerville, California to Genoa, Nevada. About ninety miles over the range. Three days going east, two coming back, with fifty to a hundred pounds of mail on his back.
He kept doing it for twenty years.
He carried no blanket, no tent and no gun. When he had to sleep out he built a fire on a flat rock and lay down on pine boughs. He navigated by the stars and by the shape of the country, and he said he was never lost, including in blizzards.
He hauled more than letters. Medicine, newspaper type, supplies, whatever anybody needed. He carried out the first silver ore taken from the Comstock Lode.
In late December of 1856 he came across a man named James Sisson alone in a cabin south of Lake Tahoe. Sisson had been snowbound for twelve days with both legs frozen solid and nothing to eat but raw flour. Thompson built him a fire, cut and stacked wood, skied to Genoa, and came back with six men and a sled.
Then the doctors said they would have to amputate and there was no chloroform anywhere in the valley.
So Thompson crossed the Sierra to Sacramento and crossed back with it. Sisson lived.
He had been told he would be paid a dollar a letter. He was almost never paid anything at all. He had no formal contract with the Post Office Department, and that was the technicality they kept returning to.
In 1869 the Nevada legislature formally petitioned the federal government to pay him about six thousand dollars for work he had already done. Nothing came of it.
So in 1872 he decided to go to Washington and ask Congress himself.
On the way out, his train got stuck in snowdrifts. He got off and walked through the snow to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
He sat in Washington for six weeks waiting on a congressional committee to decide, ran out of money, and went home.
He was never paid. He died on May 15, 1876, at forty nine, of appendicitis that turned into pneumonia, at his ranch in Diamond Valley.
He is buried in Genoa, Nevada, under a headstone with a pair of crossed skis carved into it.
He brought skiing to the American West, carried the mail over a mountain range for twenty winters, and was paid for none of it.
Yesterday’s historic win stopping wall construction across the whole Big Bend region still hasn’t quite settled in, but we figured we’d get right back out in the field today anyway. Got a tip that a section of wall outside of El Paso had been severely flooded over the last two weeks of hurricane rain, so headed out to investigate this morning with Natalie Newman.
What we found was an geomorphological nightmare where erosion had cut 10-15 deep into a hillside, while also piling up a ton of earth against the wall—so much that it basically overtopped the wall itself. The border wall always seems so surreal, so ridiculous and so futile. At times like this, up against the persistent force of nature, it’s also just comedic in its absurdity.
We will keep doing every single thing in our power to make sure these ridiculous, destructive barriers are kept out of Big Bend for good.
i didn't know there was a code word.
i wasn't taught anything other than my body belonged to men - in particular my husband.
my needs came last.
and if something ever happened to me, i did something to cause it. (all my mother's opinions)
my dad tried to "guilt" me into not shaving my legs.
told me junior high girls were "easy" if they left the campus for lunch.
so i kept quiet when i was molested.
and when i was groped.
and sexually assaulted.
it wasn't until i was in my 30's did i finally begin to see i wasn't the one at fault.
and at that - it still took me another 25 years for my inner voice to come out and stay out.

Hey y’all. WE NEED TO BE PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ALEXANDER BROTHERS CASE.
Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander are three Israeli-American brothers from a wealthy Miami family. Oren and Tal became powerhouse luxury real-estate brokers selling multimillion-dollar homes to celebrities and billionaires, and represented Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in their $24 million Florida home purchase. While Alon worked in his family’s private-security business.
For over decades all 3 brothers used their status to recruit women through clubs, parties, dating apps and promoters, and lure them with luxury trips and exclusive events, THEN DRUG, ISOLATE and RAPE them, sometimes TOGETHER and with other men. More than 60 WOMEN have come forward saying they were raped by one or more of the brothers. ELEVEN women testified in court!
The evidence was fucking horrific: women drugged, incapacitated, restrained and raped. Multiple men and MINORS were involved. Jurors saw texts, emails, photographs and videos.
On March 9, 2026, a federal jury UNANIMOUSLY convicted ALL THREE on EVERY COUNT.
Seven months later, they still haven’t been sentenced.
Now their wealthy Jewish family has hired Alan Dershowitz, Jeffrey Epstein’s and Trump’s former lawyer. Dershowitz’s correspondence says his work includes exploring “executive clemency and judicial reversal.”
These men aren’t accused. THEY’RE CONVICTED.
Yet this story has received nowhere near the sustained national attention its scale deserves.
October 27 is Sentencing day.
Keep your eyes wide fucking open.
