Because most of the outrage in the past few years isn't actually "for the talents' good." A small minority genuinely is, and I give them credit for that. But the rest are mixed with ex members and pushing forces with competing interests (VShojo), internet identity politics (it's the lgbtq friendly company with a literal rainbow flag known for having male talents and female fans), pure tribalism. People want Niji livers to be oppressed harder, want every talent to have some scandal blow up, and want talents to really be getting 2% of total income revenue. The goal is to boost the company/group they support to appear more well managed, well treated, and free by comparison. Human simply live for a sense of superiority, and a lot of things are blown out of proportion purposefully because people fantasize about niji bad.
