@Amirmizroch I'm no fan of Hamas but according to @UsefulIdiotpod they have offered to release hostages and give up power in return for a permanent ceasefire. If this is true, and the Israelis powers care so much about their hostages, why haven't they accepted it?

@LucyZelic @NietzscheFella It's right there in the beginning of her letter so it's definitely central to her the case she's making. I agree with @nietzchefella, it's tricky ground but at least it gets people thinking about the full impact of exemptions / concessions on religious grounds.
