Have you heard?
To celebrate 2020 Year of Cathedrals, Year of Pilgrimage we're sharing an unusual photo of a cathedral. EVERY DAY.
Here's a little round up of just a few of what we've shared so far.

We’ve been at beautiful Wells Cathedral @WellsCathedral1 planning our Sacred Spaces conference 15-17 September 2020. The theme is #pilgrimage and we are so excited to meet and share ideas with interpreters of our wonderful buildings. Save the date!
Cathedrals welcomed the highest ever number of children and young people for educational events. In 2018, 340,000 young people from nursery through to 18+ attended events at cathedrals and at Westminster abbey.

An interesting piece and worth a few minutes of your time to read.

On my way home after a wonderful few days in St Albans for @CathedralsPlus conference. Yesterday I spoke about our work @HFDCathedral improving our accessibility & the response from the other churches was SO encouraging! Some have even taken action in the 24hrs since the talk!
What are we taking away? Lots of fresh ideas, examples of good practice, new friendships & networks, renewed enthusiasm and a suntan! 🌞 Thanks to all speakers, participants and to our generous hosts @StAlbansCath@premierinn St Albans @Ecclesiastical
Safe journeys home folks!
An engaging Keynote from @TomOleary72 from @HRP_palaces encouraging us to take calculated risks, use technology, keep things simple and understand our audiences. Lots of advice and practical examples to inspire us as we return to our settings. ❤️
Next up is our keynote @TomOleary72 Director of Public Engagement @HRP_palaces “From Teaching to Towers: a journey through heritage and culture with some (occasionally painful) lessons learned”
We have already learned that Tom kayaks to work, Tudor style!

Privileged to listen to the theological insights of Very Revd Jeffrey John, Dean @StAlbansCath prior to a drinks reception and dinner in the Abbey. ⛪
