Older Peoples Pilot Home Treatment Team Manager, Passionate about improving mental health care, reading Jane Austen and dunking biscuits in tea! @DPT_NHS
@PUNC20_Michelle @KernowHealthCIC @sharonevans35 Cannot thank you enough! Perhaps I can create a tech/ nurse hybrid role when you qualify? Everyone needs a techy nurse in their life! Feel like I learnt so much today and really appreciate it… next time in person with coffee!
A unique job opportunity for a SMHP to join me and my wonderful team supporting older adults experiencing a mental health crisis in South Devon with @DPT_NHS Get in touch to hear more… https://t.co/QiLb9bFZvd #hometreatment#crisis#shapingservices#pilotteam
@PUNC20_Michelle Thanks for this, I am extremely lucky to have such an enthusiastic and compassionate team who consistently go the extra mile for each individual … you would be an asset to any team but especially HTT! I will be expecting great things from you Nurse Cotter!
Always lovely to have a student nurse come back and visit your team for the day (and not just when they bring biscuits!). @PUNC20_Michelle you are going to be a fabulous nurse and will always be welcome at OPMH HTT, please keep in touch
#MoorlandViewCrew put on an amazing Alice in Wonderland themed tea party for our inpatients today. Such a lovely way to bring everyone together&enhance the recovery journey. So grateful for cakes donated from the local community too! @DPT_NHS@Debihari4780@SallyBurgess8
Great to be back and already feeling the Twitter love… now to remind myself how to hashtag/ mention/ quote retweets! @PUNC20_Michelle we may need a student teacher role reversal!
Welcome back to Twitter @catherineclay23.
This woman was a huge source of support and encouragement (and caffeine) when i was on my last @DPT_NHS placement. Why not pop over and give her a follow x
@PUNC20_Michelle @DPT_NHS Also I’m about to get the team a coffee machine so you must pop in and see us all on your next placement, everyone would be made up to see you… I might even stretch to some cream and syrup!
@PUNC20_Michelle @DPT_NHS Bless you Michelle! Really excited to be back in the land of Twitter, hoping to promote the fantastic work my new team are doing. Just need to get used to how to tweet again!
Panic buying is a symptom of a dysfunctional society diseased with individualism
To those with litres of soap at home- do you realise that to slow the transmission of COVID-19 you need other people to be cleaning their hands too?!
A fortress of toilet paper will not protect you
You heard it here first (probably). We are looking to hire a full-time RA to work on our RCT of Open Dialogue Therapy. You will work with participants in crisis across our site in Thurrock (so need a vehicle) and with the UCL team. Please retweet/pass on!

I always got these sorts of comments as a student nurse & sometimes even now as a NQN- I’ve lived through acute mental illness and chronic physical illness in my family from a young age, if that doesn’t give me more insight/empathy nothing else will! #NQN#nursing
Feeling very proud to be a part of the #OpenDialogue movement and @ODDESSI_UCL trial with @DPT_NHS . I was very privileged to have the beautiful Charmaine Harris as my tutor. Beautiful photo of us all, shame my eyes are closed! https://t.co/MuqJB6N1yG
I have come to recognise that allocating time for hobbies is important for mental health and well being. Book time in now before busyness gets in the way.
Turns out that that burnout isn’t:
‘an individual problem, solvable by “learning to say no,” more yoga, better breathing techniques, practicing resilience’
Who’d have thought? https://t.co/waTLdOcSoi
