A valuable flute went missing yesterday from the owner's bike on the way to a lunchtime session in Cassidy's in Camden St. It has huge sentimental value and a reward has been offered.
If anyone sees it, please send a DM.
RTs appreciated.
Hi, I make lovely things out of silver that's reclaimed from old electrical devices (eg. toasters). I cast real wild & garden flowers in said recycled silver & also sculpt teeny wearable versions of much-loved UK birds eg. wrens. My necklaces make really smashing presents but take a while to make so order before tomorrow evening if you'd like one in time for🌲 (also pls RT if poss tysm xx) 👇🌿

Eamon Duffy's books 'The Stripping of the Altars' and 'The Voices of Morebath' often get mentioned by this account and others. Worth mentioning they're both published by Yale, who are offering 50% off pretty much all their stock until the end of November. So under a tenner for each of these, cheaper than buying them second hand, probably. Details in the quoted post.
This story below shows why it’s crucial to follow crew instructions about allergens on board, even one person eating nuts can put another passenger in danger, even putting their life at risk.
Thankfully the crew handled this situation well.
Safety rules exist for a reason.
I find it unpardonable that Ryanair has refused to refund Stephen Crean , 61, who couldn’t take a flight to Austria to watch his beloved Nottingham Forest due to his mutiple knife injuries incurred courageously saving the lives of passengers on that Huntington train.
Ryanair simply, and cruelly, told him that he should have taken out insurance cover.
Memo to Mr O’Leary; This is a time that you should tell your people to throw the commercial rule book out the window , embrace a hero, make the refund and offer to fly him around Europe for free all next year.
We need more Mr Creans and less jobsworths who don’t understand what courage looks like.
One day a Mr Crean might save one of your family or one of your colleagues.
At London’s Victoria Railway Station, a magnificent survivor from the golden age of rail travel but sadly a faded shadow of its former glory. An old Southern Railway and South Coast Line tiled heritage map embedded into the wall. I hope it’s been restored since I took this photo.
Artists Lauren Dicioccio’s hand stitched portrait of Elizabeth Moss as Offred from the adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel 'The Handmaid's Tale', a work containing the famous quote “Nolite te bastardes carborundorum"
Don't let the bastards grind you down.... #womensart

I know I've asked this a few times recently but I've been very unwell for much of this year & am trying to get back on my feet again financially by teaching my workshops again alongside running my Etsy shop.
Please could you give my tweets above/below about my workshop a RT if you have a moment (or even join the class if you fancy learning about how collecting alters our brain wiring and thoughts for the better-I'd love to teach you).
Thankyou so much for your continued support and encouragement here x🌿
