We’re taking part in the @Sustrans #BigWalkandWheel. In partnership with @SchwalbeUK it's the UK’s biggest #walking#wheeling#scooting and #cycling to school challenge. Encourage your children to take part on as many days a possible between 24 March and 4 April 2025!
What fun we had yesterday celebrating the school's 50 year anniversay! We had a lovely celebration learning about The National School and how St Catherine's came into being, met the mayor and had party games. Each child wrote a postcard of what they love about school.

Our Year 3 went on an adventure to the Hurlers. They were lucky enough to see a real Bronze Age cist, the Hurlers and the Pipers. Year 3 would like to thank Caroline from #cornwallheritage@Heritage_Trust for their amazing help to do this trip.

We were so lucky to have the amazing musician Will Keating visit us on Tuesday. He spent the day doing workshops with each class who learnt lots of Cornish songs before culminating in a fantastic sing-a-long whole school assembly! #willkeating
We have some amazing news - we have been selected as an early adopter for the universal free breakfast clubs government scheme.
This means, that from after the Easter break, we can offer a 30 minute free breakfast club to all school age pupils.
This will run from 8.15-8.45.

A group of our year 6s attended our annual Trust Climate Conference yesterday. They had an amazing time presenting about our Bee-Keeping Project and learning all about of climate problems, solutions and sustainability from a range of charities and companies from this sector.
