I like the moment when we get a newsletter out. The myriad ‘patches’ come together in a patchwork of community energy, ideas, and positive impacts. I don’t know if we always get things right… but there is possibility beyond our bit- with those who are interested to listen/read.

Commentator on royal coach: wood taken from Royal ship Britannia Daughter: why take wood from ship? Seems ship would need that wood. Is there a hole in the ship? 🤣 @BBCNews#Coronation
Well I started the day unable to figure out why my trouser pockets wouldn’t go in properly….until I realised my trousers were on inside out🤣! So obviously I fell over whilst I tried to take them off because I was laughing so hard. Tuesday is it?
@MarkOneinFour Designing new areas is fundamentally weird to me. The discussion of affordable housing obv has merit but we’ve lost sight of the issue of good work and homes places people would want to be. Designing new homes is an antidote to jobs amassed, like designing new neighbourhoods.
@MarkOneinFour We are lucky we have broadband. And a postbox. And a chapel. But private water & gas is necessary. There is supposed to be a bus once per hour from town a half mile walk from the hamlet. They drop you but don’t pick up. We get eggs from the neighbours.
@MarkOneinFour In some areas it’s not a rich poor divide. I live in a rural hamlet of 22 homes 7-10am drive from a market town of 6k. all but one home has been here for roughly 500 years. There is a mix of owners and renters. A few hundred sheep, a few thousand chickens, about 80 bullocks.
@SigSeams@ace_southwest@RAMMuseum@LibrariesUnLtd Absolutely brilliant exhibition of female artists- though emphasis on healing rather than strength and resilience of both nature & women was uncomfortable. To me this space is about lost knowledge through historic power struggle. This stage is perhaps necessary. Loved the works.
@JohnMcArts@LearnWorkUK @ukEdge The heart button seems all wrong here, but I do like that this reality is being called out. Seems a hidden effect of poor economic outlook and squeeze on employers and pressure (&lack of wellbeing support) of workers
