Nobody knows a man better than the woman he's in a relationship with When i say nobody, I mean NOBODY. Not his parents, his homies or siblings. They see one side of him but his girl gets the raw unfiltered version, broken version, loving version, hatful version & unstable version. Vice versa.
Ealier today Hon.Monica Musenero Musanza officially handed over the office of the ministry of Science,Technology and Innovation office of the President to HON.MIN JORNARD ASIIMWE @Ministry_STI@EngJonard@MonicaMusenero2
This woman said: My baby daddy tried to come back right after his new relationship failed, and I wish more women talked about this. When he left, he made it seem like I was the problem. Like I was too emotional. Too demanding. Too much.
Then suddenly he had a new girlfriend. And at first, he was gone gone.
Posting.
Smiling.
Living his “best life.”
Acting like fatherhood was a side quest.
Then one day… silence.
No more posts.
No more happy updates.
And guess who popped back up?
Now he texting late at night.
Now he talking about “I miss my family.”
Now he saying things like
“She wasn’t you”
“You held me down”
“I should’ve never left.”
But here’s the truth nobody likes to say.
A lot of baby daddies don’t come back because they love you. They come back because the replacement didn’t last.
Because the new girl didn’t tolerate what you survived.
She didn’t clean up his mess emotionally.
She didn’t carry his responsibilities.
She didn’t protect his image.
So now he wants to return to familiarity.
But I’m not the same woman he left.
I’m not desperate.
I’m not confused.
And I’m not flattered.
Because if you left me and the kids for another woman,
then try to come back when it failed, you’re not coming back healed.
You’re coming back homeless emotionally.
I had an aunt who never tolerated problems in the family.
If a child was going astray, she showed up.
If husband and wife were fighting, she traveled even interstate just to settle it.
If someone was sick, she was there.
If there was confusion, she called meetings.
If a child was misbehaving, she prayed, corrected, guided, and carried them like her own.
She was the glue.
But few years back, we lost her.
And now… her own children are struggling.
The same woman who fought for everyone else’s home is no longer here to fight for hers. The father isn’t strong enough to carry the weight alone. The support she gave others, her own children are not getting it from anyone.
Even as I type this, I feel guilty.
How did we get here?
Here’s the harsh reality truth:
Nobody! and I repeat, nobody can raise, protect, mentor, and fight for your children the way you can.
People may try.
Relatives may promise.
Family may mean well.
But when you’re gone, the difference shows.
It’s painful. It’s uncomfortable. But it’s real.
Take care of your children.
Build them strong while you’re alive.
Because when the pillar falls, the house shakes.
There is a pandemic of men who are good fathers but very poor husbands/Partners. They treat the child’s mother like trash while Loving the child. Please make it make sense ……..
If my daughter grows up one day, I would tell her before choosing a man, take time to understand how he was raised. His family background, the kind of father he has, how his father treats his mother. Because those things shape a man’s emotional and mental well-being, and they strongly influence the kind of partner he will become.
It’s not easy to change a man. And it’s not easy to find someone with empathy, emotional maturity, and common sense, unless he had good role models while growing up.
