@ina_kostakis Using Jupyter notebooks changed my life, so I suggest R Markdown. I use them like handwritten lab books, starting a new notebook when it gets too long, or is a well-defined analysis, & number the files sequentially. I also develop workflows in them & then translate to scripts

Finding out how much rockweed is on Maine's coast is essential for understanding nearshore food webs. @cathmmit recently began fieldwork with collaborators to develop methods that can estimate the amount of rockweed using data from drones!

#7daysoffieldwork Day 5: @cathmmit spent last summer surprisingly chilly -- in the Southern Ocean with the @SCALExperiment. She ran a system measuring how light interacts with #phytoplankton in order to help calibrate satellites and improve observations in this remote region.
