“To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant” Cardinal John Henry Newman
This is literally why after being Protestant since I was 13 years old, I joined the Catholic Church.
A warning about this dangerous, cult like and unbiblical ideology-
Once Saved Always Saved is a philosophy of certainty without endurance (Matthew 24:13), a doctrine of assurance without perseverance (Hebrews 3:14), and a promise of a crown without running the race (2 Timothy 4:7–8).
It is an insidious invention of the demonic that wraps itself outwardly in a false pseudo-Christianity
Sorry Trent, I’m just couldn’t help myself…
I clipped your video and added Billy Jean by Michael Jackson.
This may come up in my next confession…
@Trent_Horn@counseloftrent
Since Patrick got exposed for passing off stolen content his videos are sloppy and more incredulous.
At least before he would post “evidence”. Most of it was cherry picked and out of context, but it showed effort.
Now he’s just making claims with nothing but “Trust me Bro”
Catholics want you to believe they gave you the Bible so you are forced to accept their authority over the Bible!
They prove over and over that their religion is NOT Christianity!
The Pope is not placed by God? Catholics try to claim it’s the “office” not the man but this is not logical!
The foundation of the Body Christ cannot EVER depend upon a Sinful man.
Christ alone is the Rock!
@mikek55905054@Brosephos Patrick, you’re really quick to demand people dox themselves, but hide behind an alt account?
Catholic actually pray you would own up to your sins instead of ignoring and obfuscating responsibility.
@mikek55905054@Brosephos He post lies and strawman arguments about Catholicism nonstop while passing off others work as his own.
If you have to lie to “own the Catholics” you’ve already lost the plot…
@mikek55905054 Why, so you can dox him? So far you (Patrick using an alt account) have Lied, Cheated, and Stole as well as tried to obfuscate any responsibility and make yourself the victim. Why would he post info so a dirtbag like you can harass him and his family?
Ok, “Bible Scholar”. If you actually read St Jerome, you’d know he defended Mary’s perpetual virginity and that she had no other children.
Your argument from absence fallacy creates more problems for your belief…
Mary Was NOT Sinless!
Catholics will try to use typology to conclude the sinlessness of Mary from the moment of her conception!
Catholics will claim that everyone believed Mary was sinless before the Protestant reformation!
Although we can and have easily refuted this false doctrine, using scripture alone, it’s important to show them from their own beloved saints and doctors of Roman Catholicism that this is simply untrue!
Here is one example where Jerome, the doctor of the Roman church, explained in his commentary on Isaiah that the only endless person with Jesus Christ our Savior. He does not include Mary as an exception. This is important because he also mistranslates Gabriel‘s words in Luke 1 claiming Mary was “full of grace” when the Greek word inspired by God there does not mean Mary was full of anything, but that she was simply favored by God.
@KermitWog11757@LizzieMarbach 4 days before he said he was “doing his research” he said he didn’t want to debate Jay.
You’re the worst kind of simp. You’re literally too stupid to comprehend that you’re wrong.
