@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert If you were dating a French woman with French parents, then you'd certainly say she's French. So yes, genes do matter in identity.
A "French" on paper is not different from a "black" with 1/8 black genes as per US law.
Arabs can never be seen as truly French.
Case closed.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Imagine telling your family you're dating a Japanese woman and then you bring home a European girl.
Society knows a French woman is ethnically European.
Arabs in France wanna be European so badly, they wanna be called "French" than Arab cuz they look down on their Arab-ness.
@stouttrout1@StayFree2030@MontgomeryToms@FreedomWatchGB Many non-white immigrants love whiteness, so they hold on to the "European" label. They look down on the "non-European" label.
So actually the lady in the vid is projecting when she says "racism". She doesn't wanna be seen as Bengali because she looks down on them.
@alphaomegus@MontgomeryToms@FreedomWatchGB It's actually the reverse. They love whiteness, that's why they latch on to the "British" label. If you call them Bengali, they'd take it as an insult.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Japan allows naturalization. So apparently, a blonde English woman who's a Japanese citizen is a "Japanese woman".
Like I said, if an Arab Muslim hijabi says she's French, we just nod and play along: she's DEFINITELY French ;)
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Third world migrants did not start moving in hordes until after WWII.
Sure, she's definitely "French". Apparently, the first thing people think about when someone says "a French woman" is a Moroccan Muslim hijabi.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert The meme has a Muslim woman so I chose Muslim. She can even be South Asian, not Arab, so my point stands.
Modern France only started after WWII. To be French still remains having French ancestry. People from Quebec are more French than the Muslim woman in the meme.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Laws change and are arbitrary. US laws once considered 1/8 blacks to be fully black.
Sure an Arab can delude herself into thinking she's French, legally and in polite company. But without French genes, she's just an Arab to people around her. They just won't say it.
@EmberRoseTea@trad_west_ 1) There are only 20,000 Catholic Churches in America. We need more.
2) We need more doctors/nurses before building more hospitals.
3) More schools does not mean better education.
4) Abolish rent control first.
5) Only if rehab is mandatory.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert So what would a 10 year old Arab born in France be? If she cannot be a French citizen at aged 10, then she would be Arab, not French.
"Delayed" citizenship is no different from a 60 year old Arab becoming naturalized in France. Both are Arabs.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Read the first line from my previous reply again.
Laws can change, that's why, objectively, a French person is someone whose genes are from Western Europe, at the very minimum.
Marine Le Pen is 100% French, in terms of citizenship and genes, compared to an Arab woman.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Regardless, a Muslim woman whose genetic origins are not from Western Europe is not French.
You need to be Western European genetically at a very minimum to be considered French since France is in Western Europe.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert Say it how many times you want. You’re reiterating my point.
A kid of foreigners born in France does not automatically make him/her French.
Case closed.
@CeldonShooper7@d_foubert It's not the best analogy, but that's not the point of the meme.
The foreigners' child can only be "French" at 18 and it's not even guaranteed (i.e. the family is deported).
So no, being born in France does not automatically make you French unless you have a French parent.
@AhmedSalahFCB@d_foubert You're grasping at straws now. The meme talks about the person's status based on where they're born.
Simply being born in France does not make you French. Try again.
@AhmedSalahFCB@d_foubert Jus soli means citizenship automatically at birth, so you're wrong.
Apparently conservative Muslim Pakistan is closer to Catholic Poland culturally than conservative Muslim Indonesia?
Muslims pretend to hate the West but still choose to live here nonetheless lol.
@AhmedSalahFCB@d_foubert no it’s not. foreigners’ babies do not automatically get citizenship at birth in france.
europeans moving to european countries is fine.
muslims should only stay in the muslim world. a muslim can integrate better in indonesia than poland, for example.
