Hello academics / lecturers / PhD students I need advice…
I have a BA in history and an MA in historical research - pre-pandemic my plan was always to go into academia, do a PhD etc. Since then, I’ve done a lot of thinking and I’m now unsure if I want to do a PhD at this (🧵)

Thoughts? Is this a good idea? Not sure if it looks like a cop-out having two MAs- like I don’t really know what I’m doing with my life so I just keep going back to uni?

Would really welcome some advice on whether a second MA is a good idea - I don’t often hear of people doing this. I need experience in the museum sector and an MA seems the best way to go about it in terms of both qualifications and work experience opportunities
