The other reason that SQLite got so much faster is all the things they *didn’t* do, because it would have made the system slower. It is 10x easier to lose performance than to claw it back.

@humphd there is the ai in education discussion today and i am really interested in that. it isn’t just about when and where for usage but issues around data safety and privacy. lots to think about for sure.
