Valuable finding using TN data re: student teachers: When an exceptional teacher mentors a student teacher, results for ALL improve - the teacher, the student teacher & students. Implications for practice are numerous, incl. how we select & pay excellent mentor teachers.
@SchwinnTeach Sadly one of the key components to the Read to Be Ready Program, the Regional Reading Coaches, was not funded. My wife @litcoachwright is a rock star when it comes to teaching kids to read and it breaks her heart to see a successful program & a team of coaches go by the wayside.
